Seneca Convention & Tourism Grant Program

The Seneca Convention & Tourism Grant Program provides reimbursement funding for advertising and promotional expenses for events and projects that increase visitation to Seneca and support the local economy.

Preference will be given to events and initiatives that:

  • Attract visitors from outside the local area,
  • Increase overnight stays,
  • Encourage tourism activity,
  • Support Seneca businesses and community vitality.


Grant funds may be used for advertising and promotion expenses, including print, digital, radio, and other marketing efforts. Events must be promoted outside the Seneca area to qualify. Local advertising may be included as part of a broader marketing strategy but cannot be the exclusive use of grant funds.

Please note:

  • Postage expenses are not eligible for reimbursement.
  • Grants are reimbursement-based only.
  • Applications must be approved before the event or project takes place.
  • If your event occurs before the next application deadline, you must apply during the previous funding cycle. 


Application Deadlines

Applications are due by the 15th of:

  • February
  • May
  • August
  • November

Funding decisions will be made before the 30th of the same month.

Incomplete or late applications may not be considered. Applicants will be required to provide receipts, invoices, proof of payment, and examples of advertising materials before reimbursement is issued. Receipts for reimbursement must be turned in no later than 60 days after the event. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
